California Reads Poster Design

As a graphic designer for California Reads, a literacy program inspiring students across California, I created a variety of visual materials designed to engage and motivate both students and educators. My goal was to design visually appealing resources that make reading more exciting and fun.

My role in this project

As a graphic designer, I created the California Reads posters using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring they aligned with the program’s branding guidelines. My design process began with researching the program’s color palette, typography, and overall look and feel to maintain consistency with its established identity.

My Working Process

This process helped bring Morninglam Jewelry to life in a way that stays true to its vision while making it easy for customers to connect with the brand.

Concept Development

With a solid direction in mind, I experimented with different color palettes, typography styles, and design elements that best represented the brand. I wanted to make sure the logo and overall identity captured the playful yet edgy feel of Y2K fashion. I narrowed down the options, refined the visuals and branding to create a cohesive look that seamlessly tied into the website and product presentation.

Finalize Product

Once everything was refined, I finalized the website, brand identity, and visual assets to make sure they all matched perfectly. The end result is a bold, nostalgic, and cohesive brand that captures the Y2K aesthetic while offering a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
